 Marriage in mind is a six session preparation course for those considering the important step of marriage. Unlike many other courses, this has been specifically designed to encourage couples to talk through a variety of subjects / issues.
It was designed by two pastors and has been successfully used since 1999. In addition to the usual subjects covered by such courses, couples have appreciated the opportunity given to talk through subjects that could so easily arise in marriage and are not covered by other similar couses.
Each session consists of independent work sheets, Bible studies and also opportuinity to compare each others responses, with the intention that they should be talked through.
A trained facilitator is essential and is provided with helpful notes to assist the couple in the work covered prior to each session.
If couples want to have the maximum benefit - each session must be thoroughly completed prior to the facilitator's involvement.
Christians, non-christians, church leaders and those involved in ministry have gone through this course and have given high praise to its simple yet thourough and effective approach to marriage preparation.
