Philip Lawson Johnston’s song “Jesus is the name we honour” sums up what Clapham Elim is all about and the reason for our existence.

 

It’s all about Jesus, who He is, what He has done and His soon return as depicted in the scriptures. We believe Jesus is God’s solution for the problems and complexities of the human heart! In spite of the tremendous advances all forms of science, science still does not have a solution for the emptiness that exists in so many.

God did not create us to be beautiful pictures, ugly stories, frustrated and angry individuals and confused, messed up junkies looking for the next fix that would give some mental relief to life’s challenges. It’s about time that science needs to catch up with the scriptures!

MISSION STATEMENT

“To love Jesus and to make His love known in the power of His Holy Spirit” is the reason for our existence. Jesus and the working of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life is God’s way to bring meaning, purpose, order and peace into the emptiness of the human heart!
